Fipronil is a broad-spectrum insecticide with excellent control effect on many kinds of pests. It is highly sensitive to the pests of Hemiptera, Lepidoptera, Mugiloptera, Coleoptera, pyrethroids and carbamate insecticides.
Mainly used in rice, sugarcane, potatoes, and other crops, animal health is mainly used to kill fleas and lice on cats and dogs and other parasites.
Control of multiple species of thrips on a broad range of crops by foliar, soil or seed treatment. Control of corn rootworms, wireworms and termites by soil treatment in maize. Control of boll weevils and plant bugs on cotton, diamond-back moths on crucifers, and colorado beetle on potatoes, by foliar application. Control of stem borers, leaf miners, planthoppers, leaf folders/rollers and weevils in rice. Foliar application rates range from 10-80 g/ha; soil treatment rates 100-200 g/ha.
